Cedar Creek Holistic Veterinary Practice is an ambulatory veterinary practice dedicated to providing compassionate, quality holistic care to companion animals and athletes.
Every new patient’s journey begins with an initial evaluation by Dr. Selders. From there, we’ll compose a treatment plan to return your animal to full health. Plus, an examination before any problem arises is beneficial and proactive!
Dr. Selders has a special interest in providing holistic medicine to equine, canine and feline patients after seeing the results on her own horse, Isis, who was not helped by Western medicine. Let our experience provide you answers.
Dr. Selders passion is to improve the performance of the sport horse and sport dog. Her knowledge of veterinary and holistic medicine, nutrition and anatomy all come together to solve the puzzle each animal presents.
For nearly 20 years, Dr. Corine Selders has worked tirelessly to provide veterinary services to equine, canine and feline patients. With a focus on holistic medicine, Dr. Selders is certified in veterinary acupuncture, veterinary chiropractics, equine rehabilitation and performance medicine.
Holistic medicine is an approach to healing that addresses the whole body and being of the patient. From the American Holistic Health Association: “The practice of holistic medicine integrates conventional and alternative therapies to prevent and treat disease, and most importantly, to promote optimal health.”
There are many reasons to choose Holistic medicine. Some clients choose holistic medicine for themselves and would like to offer the same for their companion animals and horses. Other clients have already tried conventional medicine for a particular patient and it has not been effective. Others would like to have an additional modality for pain relief and quality of life improvement in an older pet. Clients with competition horses and dogs choose holistic modalities to improve athletic performance.
